The St. George Art Museum’s 10th Annual “For the Love of Art” Home Show is a “little bit of mystery and a whole lot of fun,” scheduled this year on the mornings of Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23. The mystery is the location of the three upscale homes, each with impressive, one-of-a-kind art collections. To protect the privacy of our homeowners, the location of each home will be revealed only when art lovers arrive at the address. The fun is getting to share the ride with friends and neighbors – also on the tour – or get acquainted with other art lovers on one of three comfortable and air-conditioned buses. There is also the opportunity for interesting conversation about the homes and their art on the bus and later, during lunch at the Painted Pony restaurant.
Tickets – limited to 100 due to the number of seats on the buses – are available at the St. George Art Museum, 47 E. 200 North, at a cost of $65 which includes the home tour, bus ride, lunch at St. George’s only 5-star restaurant and a donation to the St. George Art Museum for the purchase of art for the museum’s permanent collection. The art museum and its collection exists “to educate … through quality exhibitions from all periods, cultures and media … and to collect, conserve, inventory, exhibit and interpret art and artifacts from Utah and the West.”
