We’ve all done it … traveled to a new community anticipating all the exciting things you hope to see and do, only to miss the best sights because you’re not sure where to find the best information. In St. George, the solution to this conundrum is the new St. George Visitor Center located in the Old Pioneer Courthouse at 97 E. St. George Blvd. There you’ll find complete tourist information, an assortment of maps, a local events map, and best of all, a shopping experience including unique “made-in-Utah” souvenirs and gifts.
The St. George Art Museum’s 10th Annual “For the Love of Art” Home Show is a “little bit of mystery and a whole lot of fun,” scheduled this year on the mornings of Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23. The mystery is the location of the three upscale homes, each with impressive, one-of-a-kind art collections. To protect the privacy of our homeowners, the location of each home will be revealed only when art lovers arrive at the address. The fun is getting to share the ride with friends and neighbors – also on the tour – or get acquainted with other art lovers on one of three comfortable and air-conditioned buses. There is also the opportunity for interesting conversation about the homes and their art on the bus and later, during lunch at the Painted Pony restaurant.
