Soup & Handmade Ceramic Bowls Raise Funds for Art

Soup & Handmade

The 15th annual Soup N’ Bowl fundraising luncheon and auction for the St. George Art Museum will be a treat for both your eyes and your taste buds. One of two fundraisers held annually in support of the programs and exhibits of the St. George Art Museum, Soup N’ Bowl is scheduled on Friday, March 3, 2017, 11 am to 1:30 pm in the Social Hall located in the Pioneer Center for the Arts at 200 No. Main Street in St. George.

Each $25 ticket will give art lovers a delicious lunch and their choice of a hand-made ceramic bowl created by professional artists; pottery students at several Washington County high schools and Dixie State University or ceramic hobbyists.

The silent auction will give attendees a chance to bid on pottery made by local professionals and pieces from several ceramic artist participants in the St. George Art Festival.  Funds raised will purchase art works to add to the 863 pieces already in the St. George Art Museum’s permanent collection.

Your ticket price will also provide admission to the St. George Art Museum where two shows are currently on display through April 19, including Shu Yamamoto’s Feline Classics and the best of the museum’s permanent collection.

When the Soup N’ Bowl is over, you can take your one-of-a-kind bowl or silent auction items home to the attractive and well-stocked kitchen in your vacation home-away-from-home or St. George Vacation Rental condo. Register online today for your vacation condo at the Five Seasons Vacation Rental at laspalmasresortcondos.com or St. George Resort Rentals at stgeorgeresortrentals.com.
